The Twilight Mania began with four books. The books are available in 48 languages.

2. Twilight Movies
Warner Bros bought in 2006 the film rights for Twilight. Warner Bros earned $382,133,300 for the first movie. The last movie, Breaking Dawn part 2, is in the cinemas on 16 November 2012.

There’s a lot of Twilight Stuff. There’s in every country one (ore more) special Twilight Shop.
There’s a museum in LA with the costumes from the Twilight Movies.

3. Twilight fans
There are a lot twilight fans. Most of them are female teenagers. And some of them were… a little… different.
Not all Twilight fans are teenagers ...
… and some fans exaggerate.
Most of the fans are fan of the movies. A part of all the Twilight fans hadn’t read the books before the movie came out. And 9% of the female fans watch the movie only because of Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Launter (Jacob Black).
Birdy

Birdy (real name Jasmine van den Bogaerde, born 15 May 1996) is an English musician. She wan in 2008 the music competition Open Mic UK. Her version of Skinny Love (Bon Iver) was released in January 2011. Her album ‘Birdy’ released on 7 November 2011.
Birdy is an example for a lot of teenage girls who like to sing. There’s coming a TV game in The Netherlands. In the program (Who is the Dutch Birdy?) they’re going to search for the ‘Dutch Birdy’. Other countries want to do this, too.
Birdy is born in 1996, in Lymington, England. Het mother is a concert pianist and Birdy learns to play piano when she was four. She sings ans plays piano.
She wan the Open Mic Uk music competition in 2008. After the competition, Birdy was then offered a publishing contract with Good Soldier Songs Ltd, run by Christian Tatterfield, chairman of Warner Bros. Music UK and the label 14th Floor Records.
In 2009, she performed live for BBC Radio 3’s Pianothon in Londen.
Her cover version of Bon Iver’s song ‘Skinny Love’ released in 2011, at the age 14. The song became her first hit. The official music video for the song ‘Skinny Love’ was directed by Sophie Muller. ‘Skinny Love’ peaked at number one in include the Netherlands.
In 2012 there will release a new song: ‘I’ll Never Forget You’.
Fact: ‘Skinny Love’ and another cover (‘Shelter’) are featured on The Vampire Diaries.
KIDNAPPING

Depressed, sick, sensitive, down, crying, missing their children, it’s so hard when your child is kidnapped. We really understand their feelings but we have done a big discovery.
The right half of your brain goes for 50% backwards when your child is kidnapped.
When you look at people in crime, almost all of them have trouble with their children.
And many of them it’s because kidnapping. They want people are as unhappy as they are.
So we have become to the conclusion that people where this has happened must go in a separate organization.
They are really dangerous for our lives. They lost their children, but we don’t have to pay!
They can do terrible things to you: stealing, stalking, kidnapping, killing, things that make you crazy…
And all what we do: To feel sorry for them.
Yeah sure, they are pathetic but they have to destroy our lives.
We want to stop this and make the world better, we want to help you. But we need you. We need money for this project.

So many children in the UK are too fat, you too?

A quarter of the children in our land has obesity, this is becoming a real problem. It’s not
only very unhealthy, but many of the children are unsure too.
That uncertainty has effect on many things, like their school results. A lot of the people
believes that the results would be much better if the children would eat healthier food, like
vegetables and fruit. So listen, no more fat burgers and big cola’s anymore!
The YAC did research for the best children’s diet, it’s called: 'low carbs diet'. This is a great
diet because you can still eat a lot of things!
Recommended menu of the day for children untill 20 years.
- 6-7 slices of brown bread.
- 4-5 potatoes or serving spoons with rice or pasta.
- 4 serving spoons with vegetables.
- 2 portions of fruit.
- 4 glasses of milk products and one slice of cheese.
- 100-125 grams of meat, meat products or fish.
- 30-35 grams of butter.
- 15 grams of bake, roast and frying fats.
If you don’t eat more than this a day, you'll get in great shape and have more energie. Of course you can always make an
exception for special days, like Christmas.

What do you do in your spare time?

Many of the children are watching TV in their spare time, that’s a real waste. You could better learn to play an instrument or go do a sport.
If you chose to play an instrument you improve your intelligence and motoric. It also prevents concentration problems. Of course playing an instrument is not only for improving your intelligence and motoric, it’s also a lot of fun. Did you ever try? Of course some people will be better in it than the others, it's still worth trying.
Do you prefer sport? No problem. Of course sporting is healthy, you can get a good
condition and muscles. But what many people don't know hat it also reduce your stress level, that’s very useful of course. There are a lot of sports, so if something just don’t work for you, try something else. You got a lot of ball sports, baseball, football, rugby, tennis etc. if that’s nothing for you try swimming or martial arts. With martial arts you’re also save on the streets!
Life on Mars, who believes?

27 December was a weird day for the police officers of the ´Harold Police Station´. On precisely 12:32 PM a wife (Lucy Maxinne) run in the station and start screaming about a ´Alien Kidnapping´, the officers said she had to calm down before talking. So she did, she told them about a spaceship who landed for her house. A door, she tough it was a door, opened and a few weird beings got out.
They looked like little green people, with fairy ears and long red dresses. She also told them that was a bad combination, the green with the red.
They knocked on the door and she opened it, the ´Aliens´ came in and talked to her. They told her about their underground city. About the baby aliens and their schools, about the landscapes and the always burning sun.
She told the police she went curious and asked the aliens to take her with them, they agreed. In return she gave them her mobile.
After a short ride they landed on Mars, they brought her to a palace with red towers, there she could rest for a minute.
During her being there she learned about their habits, when she returned to earth she decide to write a book about it.

Are blond haired woman really dumb?

Blonde woman suppose to be attractive but dumb. Al lot of blonde haired woman jokes are around. But is this really true?
Marline Monroe is a perfect example of a blond and attractive woman.
Probably people think she was dumb because of the movie “Gentlemen prefer blonds”. Her role in the movie is that of a blond woman who is good looking and dumb. Her friend in the movie is a brunette who is very wise.
Another example is dolly Parton a country singer. In 1967 she had a hit “dumb blond”. In the lyrics she sings . “Just because I’m blond, don’t think I’m dumb.” In real she is a very smart businesswoman, who earned a lot of money.
A modern version of dumb blond is Heather Morris who plays a cheerleader in the popular TV serie Glee. She is sexy and beautiful but with less intelligence.
Many other blonde woman played a dumb blonde role and the notion of “dumb blonde” has also been a subject for academic research. The result of this research was those light-haired women are less intelligent than dark-haired woman.
I don’t think this is true, because I know a lot of blond haired woman who are very smart. Maybe many blond actresses have played “dumb blonds”, but are they really blond or only very convincing actresses.
